Waving goodbye to Wowingo

Back in 2013, we welcomed Wowingo to the WOW Media group of websites. Wowingo was our first project into online gambling and in partnership with GameVillage, the site came to life.

Wowingo initially offered users free bingo credit when signing up with no deposit required (just like our first Cashback sites did), and it offered a vibrant fun experience for all users.

Unfortunately, over the past year, we have struggled to grow the brand and in an industry that is only becoming more competitive by the day, we have taken the decision to shut down the Wowingo website on the 19th June 2019, to focus on other projects like our new UK TV website.

What does this mean for existing users?

Existing users can continue to use the Wowingo website up until 19th June 2019. Emails have already started going out to let users know about this.

Once the site has closed existing users will be able to continue to use existing funds and make further deposits, withdrawals on the GameVillage website at www.gamevillage.com.

Is this it for WOW in the gambling space?

We don’t have any plans to expand back into bingo but we are not ruling out expanding into other sectors within the online gambling sector in the future if the right opportunity presents itself.

I have concerns, who can I contact?

If you have concerns about this transition we recommend you contact GameVillage about this who should be able to address any concerns you may have. You can contact them at [email protected].
